We are Cheryl and  Rick Buchanan, and we can be found at the gateway of the Adirondacks in Northern New York.  When not hunting or fishing with her husband, Cheryl can be found at a dog show, either competing or watching Cookieland descendants.  We have been very  lucky to have produced some of the top winning show dogs in the history of Pointers.  Our dogs have wonderful, loving, friendly temperments with winning attitude and incredible hunting ability. 

Having both been born and raised in Northern New York, both Rick and Cheryl come from generations of outdoor sports enthusists so fishing and hunting are a major part of our lives. 

So our dogs not only look good , win at the dog shows, but hunt as well.  And so goes our moto "Lifes too short to hunt with an ugly dog."
